The combination of large module and heavy load means the tooth root stress and contact stress are both near the material limit. This demands precision heat treatment: we control case depth, surface hardness (up to 380 HB), and core toughness through normalized or quenched-and-tempered processes, with hardness profiles verified by Sampling inspection across the gear face.

Machining is where heavy-duty gears live or die. Our 16 m CNC form grinder and 5 m NILES equipment handle gears up to Φ16 m, producing tooth surfaces to DIN Grade 6 accuracy. This level of precision ensures even load distribution across the tooth flank, reducing surface fatigue and extending service intervals. For gears that see reversing loads, we offer shot peening on the tooth root to improve fatigue resistance by 30–40%. Every heavy-duty gear undergoes dimensional verification against drawing tolerances before shipment, including helix deviation, tooth thickness variation, and pitch accumulation.
